The purpose of the Ultimate 8 Football League is to provide young athletes and coaches the opportunity to play spring tackle football in an environment that focuses on developing the skills and techniques to make them successful in their fall teams. By emphasising on fundamentals, and developing technique it is our hope that players will learns the skills to make them more self confident on and off the field. For those who aren’t familiar, we play 2 -20 minute running halves. The field is smaller and allows the 8 players on the field to spread out. These games move FAST!!! The kids love it and it really allows some team building camaraderie with the kids and the coaches. Practices will begin February 6th at Sheffield Park. This is a great opportunity for new league age 7 year olds to start to get the idea of what it’s like to be in “pads”.

Equipment handout is Saturday Feb. 4th at Canal Park 10a-12.
